A Photo from My Life

Here's a quick "Photo from My Life", short and sweet post here. I forget how pretty the city I live in is. Snapped this on my mobile today. Not the best photo in the world but it reminded me to open my eyes and look around once in a while. It's amazing how we get so used to the beauty and take it for granted.

What stunning sites do you pass every day?

  1. Your post made me stop and think, as I walk down Victoria Embankment every day on the way to work past the Oxo tower, the thames, the London Eye etc. etc. and yet I still stomp to work in a bad mood...I need to get a grip lol!

  2. It’s funny how we all get a little blasé about our surroundings. It's not until it's a pretty day or a nice sunset that it hits me.

  3. I wish we had cathedrals or churches around here that looked even remotely that wonderful.

  4. I love this idea! I might do the same though there's nothing quite as beautiful here in Toronto.

  6. I walk across the Tamar bridge every day which has stunning views of the river and towns and is also next to the 'famous' Brunel bridge. I always see people snapping away but because I'm used to it, I don't think of it as that amazing. I suppose it is :)

  8. I work at a gorgeous ivy league college that has some stunning architecture--and I too walk around all blue and lost in my thoughts all day. I need to wake up and smell the roses. :)
