Little Boots Haul

Well after my Superdrug spree the other day it seems only right that I had a Boots trip today. My hair has been feeling super dry of late so I wanted to pick up some conditioning treatments. Obviously I ended up picking up a couple of make up items too. Would be rude not too right? It is Boots after all, I could spend hours in there!

Firstly the hair products. I have always loved Aussie goods. Their 3 Minute Miracle treatment has been a favourite of mine in the past. So I thought I would tried out their Miracle Moist shampoo and conditioner. Will do a review once I’ve used it for a couple of weeks. The next two hair products are Boots own “Expert” brand. I’ve used the Heat Protection Straightening Balm before and liked it so this is a repurchase. I try to use as little heat on my hair as possible but I always have to straighten or curl some part of it, fringe etc, every day so protection is needed. Therefore I also picked up the Heat Protection Intensive Conditioner, once again when I give this a decent try out I will let you know if it’s any good.

Make up wise I wanted to get myself a cheapish concealer as I’m running out quick smart but don’t have the pennies to be splashing out on a Bobbi Brown number just yet. Max Factors Mastertouch under-eye concealer found its way into my basket.

This little number was also joined by a No7 Amazing Eyes Pencil in brown (gotta love those £5 off vouchers) and two Boots Natural Collection Lipsticks. One in “Apple Blossom” and the other in “Fig Leaf“. Left to right in the photo.

The pencil looks lovely, is really smooth, looks like it would be long lasting too. I think I'll try this out tomorrow. It also has a little smudger at the end of it which is always handy.

Now I know that a Apple Blossom is a favourite for some but I think this might be a little too light for me, I‘m really not into the super paled out lips. It’s not quite as “concealer on the lips” or corpse looking as the Gosh Darling I bought the other day (I honestly think this will be at the bottom of the make up bag and never get used - gutted). Apple Blossom is slightly pinker so I might get more use out of it. Fig Leaf on the other had is right up my street. A nudey browny colour, perfect for everyday and work wear. I’m keen.

Oh and also Clearly Beautiful Blog - I bought a Maybelline Volum' Express Turbo Boost to replace the define-a-lash that wasn't working for me. It's my every day mascara.
Hope you are all having a great weekend. I’m off to watch X Factor!

Superdrug Goodies - Sleek, Barry M and Gosh

I treated myself today with a little trip to Superdrug. I did need to pick up a semi permanent hair dye as my roots are starting to show. However coupled with that fact Sleek were bringing out their latest limited edition palette today.

My Superdrug seems to sell out in the blink of an eye so I knew I would need to get in fast. I tripped into town several times to try and get their LE goods but they were sold out every time. Still being gutted that I didn’t get my mitts on the “Acid” or “Safari” palettes I was going to make sure “Graphite” didn’t elude me. Any way I’m over the moon to get this one and am looking forward to having a play with it at the weekend.

So of course while I was there I had to see what offers were on too!

Barry M nail paints were 2 for £5 so I picked up a couple. These I needed to get *cough* as my new job isn’t the type of place where bright polishes would be suitable. The grey I wore today (Asda Raincloud) wasn’t really right so I got this little pink number. Also needed a new base coat so I thought I would try theirs, this is a three in one product as it’s a top coat and hardener too.

Next was another offer (bargain joy). I had wanted to try Gosh Cosmetics for a while and spied that they had a 3 for 2 (get the cheapest item free) on so dived right in. I got myself two Extreme Art Eyeliners, one in a gorgeous bronze brown and the other in a silvery grey.

I can confirm that they are certainly waterproof even before trying them on my eyes as it took quite a bit of scrubbing to get the swatches off the back of my hand! Looking forward to playing with these as well.

Now the last thing is Gosh “Darling” lipstick. I had heard so much about this lipstick through the internet that I wanted to see what all the fuss is about. Quickly trying it on tonight I have to admit I’m not feeling it. It’s perhaps is too pale for me (like Barry M Lip Paint 101) but we‘ll see.

Here's a swatch of the liners and the lippy. Sorry not the best photo as having to use a flash.

So guys, have any of you tried these products? What’s your thoughts?

Happy Wednesday!
Take care

Technical help needed!

So folks I need a bit of technical advice. As I've said before I have an was looking for a blog application for an iPod. I currently use Blogwriter Lite (the free version) but with this I can only post (without photos). Can follow what you guys are posting. Does anyone know if the full version allows you to see the blogs I'm following? When I go onto the site direct through the Internet on the iPod I can't scroll down on the dashboard. Also when I go to read blogs it doesn't load properly, the odd image but no text. Basically useless. So any idea what I could use.
Also I have a Sony ericsson phone and can go on the Internet with it. However once again the pages don't load properly. Help peeps help.

Another Autumn FOTD

So this was the type of Autumn look I had planned on doing last week. Something still very simple but more colourful.

Being blue eyed I know warm colours should always be a win. So I went for a full lid of a coppery colour. I did use a tiny amount of black liner on the very outer corner of the eye close to the lashes to give a little but of definition. In the photo it looks more purple which I kind of like (but it was black). Along the bottom lash I used a green eyeliner pencil on the outside smudged into a gold on the inside. Plus a little black on the water line. Then some mascara.

Products used

Sleek Palette - Jewels - Copper colour

Boots No7 - Metallic Green and Gold Eyeliner Pencils

Rimmel - Exaggerate Automatic Waterproof Eye Definer in Noir

Marcara - Maybelline Define-a-lash. While on the subject of this. I bought this previously and loved it. I do tend to try other products but once I have a winner I do reproduce, after a while I bought this again. I have no idea if they have changed the formula but I hate it this time round. So much so that I bought another mascara to replace this. It seems to clump all my lashes together and looks awful. I spend more time attacking them with a lash comb than I did applying the shadow. Anyone had this problem with Define-one-clumpy-lash?

Hope you've had a great beginning to your week.

A Photo from My Life

Here's a quick "Photo from My Life", short and sweet post here. I forget how pretty the city I live in is. Snapped this on my mobile today. Not the best photo in the world but it reminded me to open my eyes and look around once in a while. It's amazing how we get so used to the beauty and take it for granted.

What stunning sites do you pass every day?

"Pin Up Pout - Shout Out" - My Award

So TA- DAH! Tee hee. Here it is, my own version of a blog award, the “Pin Up Pout - Shout Out”.

I talked about making my own award in a previous post here. I wanted to take time out from the regular chat to let you folks know about the blogs that I follow, read and love. There are no set “things to do” with this, it’s more about highlighting people and their pages. Showing them that I enjoy what they do and want to let others know. So every now and then I will be posting one. I think I said before I’m imagining it like a virtual high five (for any HIMYM lovers out there picture Barney awesomeness here).

Like any other award if people want to display it on their blog and pass it on to others then that would be wicked. However, if you do fancy doing this, feel free to copy the image I made (or make your own if you want) and start telling your followers about the fellow peeps you read. Be sure to let me know if you do, I love finding new blogs.

So my first “Shout Out” goes to Michelle over at Lipstick Rules (Pout and Lipstick, fitting no?).

Now I know she will be no stranger to many of you as she has a lot of followers already but this is as much about saying thanks as it is spreading the word about someone’s page. I have previously given this girl an award but I wanted to send her this as well. High five and fist bump to you lady! I love the mixture of posts that she does, reviews, swatches, general ponderings and questions for her readers. With her being based in Canada (myself in the UK) I’m always curious to see what goods she can pick up that I might not have heard of. Discovering new products is top fun for a MU addict. She is always very sweet in her comments and helpful too. The other day she told me how to hot link! I had been missing the obvious for weeks and it was bugging me (I wasn’t highlighting and therefore just posting full links all the time). Sounds like such a small thing but someone taking the time out to help is lovely. So if you haven’t seen this ladies stuff please go check her out.

Hope you like this Michelle! *hugs*

Have a great weekend folks.

Have you tried this?

Just a short little post about Neutrogena's Visibly Clear 2-in-1.

I know I am probably late to this product but I picked up this little number the other day. I was running out of my regular face wash and had heard good things about the above. I've only used it for two days now so can't really give a review as yet. Haven't tried it as a "mask" only as a "wash" and so far so good.

Just wondered if any of your peeps are using this (or have used it)?

Hope you have all had a great week and Woooo Hoooo it's the weekend!

Blog Awards - My Version, any takers?

I was over the moon to find out that I had been nominated for another two blog awards, twice! How sweet is that! The fantastic Louise at Lou Lou Land had nominated me as well as the lovely Nikki and Visual Aspect '87. It really means so much. To feel that not only are people taking time out of their busy lives to read my page but that some even take the time out to send me something like this. I have to say that I have found the make up community on the blog sphere to be welcoming, friendly and warm. In short you folk ROCK! The internet can be a wonderful place at times. Here are the awards.

So pretty! With these Awards I have to;
1. Thank the person who nominated me for this award (done)
2. Copy the award and place it on my blog. (done)
3. Link to the person who nominated me for this award (click on the links peeps)
4. Tell us 7 interesting things about yourself (See below)
5. Nominate 7 Bloggers (click the links to a fun read)
6. Post links to the 7 blogs I nominate. (see below)
I was lucky enough to recently be given these awards by the lovely Computergirl so I will slightly adjust what I am supposed to do. Part of structure of the awards is to write 7 things that people might find interesting about yourself. This part I will leave out and replace with something else. If you do want to see 7 facts about myself (be warned they are a bit silly) please see my previous blog here.

So here is my filler instead of facts.

The "Awards" thing got me thinking. When I first got the them I found it really difficult to pick only 7 people to nominate. I read quite a few beauty blogs and love them all. I wouldn’t follow or read them otherwise. I also wanted to make sure that I tried to pick people that hadn’t already been nominated. However I also still wanted to tell the already nominated folks that I appreciated the work they put into their page.

So with that in mind I thought I would start my own “ Award” but with a different sort of structure. I want to be able to give a "shout out" to blogs that I adore but on a more regular basis. I’m thinking probably monthly but I’m not going to put any firm rules on it. I may post more. I just want to be able to say thanks whenever I feel like it. Also I want to be able to give an award without having to wait until I am sent one. I wanna share the love people, tee hee. Can't post my first tonight as I will need a little time to make a funky image to go with it. I’m going to call it the “Pin Up Pout” award, tee hee. I'm lipstick mad at the moment and adore the pin up look so it seems fitting and a little tongue in cheek too. Unlike other awards you wouldn’t have to receive this to pass it on. If you fancy passing on a thanks to a fellow blogger feel free to copy the “Award” (once I’ve made it) and post it on your blog giving it to someone. A virtual high five! hahaha Also today I hit 50 followers so this seems even more fitting! Thanks guys, seriously a HUGE thank you to you all.

So what do you guys think? Would it be something you would like to be sent or fancy doing?
Here are the 7 beauty blogs I nominate for the above, they may have these already but I wanted to send them -
1. My first is the fab Victoria over at Lily Loves Lola, great product reviews and cute puppies!
2. I know she already has this award but I have to say Computergirl, she was one of my first blogger friends and is so lovely. Go read her stuff now!
3. To Jo at All things beautiful, I know she has these too but I wanted to send them any way. Hopefully this will also encourage her to do a FOTD too.
4. I know loads of people will already know about Vintageortacky but I love the bright colours and her YT channel. Great place for some inspiration.
5. Lauren Loves what a brilliant read. Freelance music and beauty writer with fab interviews, it really is like picking up a virtual magazine.
6. Once again a lot of you peeps will already know about the fabulous Sarah at I Heart Cosmetics but I simply had to send her these too. Fab reviews, this girl has added quite a bit of product to my wish list. I want those Zoya polishes!
7. Last but by no means least we have Clearly Beautiful. Such a lovely girl, quite a new blogger like myself, I love that she focuses on good skin as well as good make up. Her post on Style Icons really made me think about how inner and outer beauty is important in the women we praise.
Sorry for the MASSIVE post. Thanks for sticking with me if you read the whole way through!
*hugs*

Easy Autumn Eye

Inspired by the changing leaves I felt like doing an Autumn eye look the other day. I had imagined going for something orange and golden perhaps with a bit of green thrown in. Something warm and colourful. However when I woke up I wasn’t feeling too peachy. Nothing major, just monthly lady pains but still, my level of “can I be bothered” was low. So instead I went for a golden brown soft look. The photos are not the best. Taking photos in the evening is proving to be difficult. Energy saving bulbs means there isn’t a bright enough light to take photos without a flash. When the flash is used it then bleaches out the colour and makes any bit of shimmer shine full volume. It also highlights all the little blonde eyebrow hairs I have. They can't normally been seen. In fact these are a nightmare to get rid of as they are so light I can hardly see them. Any way, if anyone has hints or tips on how they take photos of their make up please let me know. Oh and also, sorry to say this again, could someone please tell me how to add in links to the text?

So here’s the look I was sporting the other day.

Products used

L’Oreal Color Resist Cream Eyeshadow as a base.

L’Oreal Color Appeal Platinum in Pure Gold on inner third blended out to the middle of the lid.

Relvon Matte Eyeshadow in Rich Sable on outer corner blended in to the middle of the lid and along the crease.

Top Liner, Relvon shadow used again but applied with a damp liner brush.

Bottom Liner, No7 Metallic Eye Liner Pencil in gold.

Mascara, Clinique High Impact

Hope you've all had a great Wednesday.
Take care.

Asda Love - Polishes and N-SPA

So here‘s what I picked up for myself in Asda the other day. I’ve already blogged about one of the “George” nail polishes that I bought forever ago and hadn’t really used (it’s bright yellow). I thought the colour was striking and the quality not all bad considering it only cost £1.50. So when I found that the polishes were on offer at a mere pound and that there was several colours to chose from I thought I would treat myself to a couple. I got myself a brown and a light grey. I don’t currently own any brown polishes and thought it would be a change. The colour is called “Rich Chocolate” (Number 25). I’m really keen. I popped it on last night and so far no major chipping. I can see little bits at the end of the nail that could start to turn chip city so I think tomorrow I will pop another coat of colour and top coat on. Will see if this works.

This is after two coats and a top coat. The colour is quite dark, I’m wondering if it will be too dark for work. I start my new job next week so I will see what the other girls in the office wear and judge it from there. My previous jobs were laid back make up and nail wise. They were fine with my bright colours so it was never an issue however this role is more face to face. I want to look as professional as I can. So vivid colours might be kept to nights and weekends.

The second colour is called “Raincloud” (Number 37) I’ve yet to try it so will report back later.

The last thing I will talk about is the N-SPA Fruit range. OH MY GOD do I love this stuff. I stumbled onto their vanilla crème brulee shower gel forever ago and feel in love with the scent. I literally can not get enough of it. I looked forward to using every day (How sad is that? Lol). So when I found that their Body Cream was “rolled back” to £2 I snatched it off the shelf and made for the check out. It’s brilliant, as a cream it’s lovely, I like using it after a shower. I do have to admit that I mainly use it for the smell. It is very strong and some people might find it too over powering but I heart it. I literally want to put my whole face in the tub, tee hee. They do other scents that I have yet to try so if any of you guys have tried this range and love something let me know.

Take care

Autumn Love

I love Autumn. Not so much for the weather, especially in Scotland, it’s unpredictable. More for the colours that appear everywhere. The trees start to turn and the streets fill with crunchy leaves. It’s cool outside but not so freezing that you can’t feel your toes and coming into the warmth of home feels great. Comforting hearty food, Halloween and the build up to Christmas. This year is extra special as I have a nephew on the way, he should make his appearance around Santa time. Quite a gift.

Took a couple of snaps the other day of nowhere in particular I just liked the colours.

Will perhaps try an Autumn themed eye look tomorrow. Also bought a brown nail polish the other day, which I will post about tomorrow, that seems to fit with the seasonal colours.

What’s your favourite part of this time of year?

Wet-n-Wild Retro Pink, My New Love Lippy

I have a bright pink lippy love going on at the moment. I got a “2 True” one that I’m really pleased with and have blogged about it previously and I have just got my hands on another cheapy number. I talked about in my post on Thursday. While at Tesco I bought 2 nail polishes (neither of which are very good but more on that later) and a Wet n Wild Lipstick in the colour “Retro Pink“. Here's what it looks like with and without a flash.

After going through the collection of lipsticks I have there are some colours I have nothing of. Everything is a little samey. I certainly have the odd one with a hint of pink about it but not PINK and not BRIGHT. My new lipstick is a really bizarre shade in a way. It looks proper pink in the tube but when on it’s hot lilac pink. My fella described it as the right side of wrong (tee hee). It’s certainly bright and I can’t help but love it. I know this might be a bit too much for some but I’m sold. It lasts really well for a lipstick costing under £2 as well. When it does fade it doesn’t go patchy either. I think I will see if I can pick up another colour next time I pop in for the dinner. Below is not the best photo but I wanted to give you an idea of what it looked like on.

The nail polishes on the other hand I will not be buying again. Both colours I bought looked great to begin with, went on ok but didn’t last long at all. The blue one was the worse than the bronze, chip city within 24 hours, however neither were particularly great. The bronze and it’s “Rock Solid” tag didn’t live up to it’s name but lasted a little longer. A day and a half before chips showed. Due to it’s sheer formula and light colour this didn’t look as obvious so I popped another coat over my nails and they still look ‘ok’. I might reuse this at some point but the blue is a definite no.

So do you guys have any bright lipsticks you could recommend?
Hope you've had a great weekend.

Thank You Survey

I was reading the lovely “Clearly Beautiful” blog the other day, follow the link at the bottom of the page folks, and she had posted a thank you to her followers with a small survey. I thought it was a lovely idea and asked her to set this up as a Tag. She has said I’m OK to do so (Thanks for this hun x) so I’m passing it on people. If you are reading consider yourself tagged, thanked for following and taking the time to read my rambles. Now you can repost it and comment to let me know you have. Or if you just fancy answering these then pop them in the comments. Either way I would love to hear your answers.

“Thank You Survey”

1. Favourite makeup line?
2. Your favourite weekend pampering session?
3. What are the three makeup items you can't live without?
4. What are three items you're lusting over right now? They can be makeup, skincare, or nails.
5. What kinds of blog posts do you love the most and why (haul, product review, DIY, tag, etc.)?
6. If you have your own blog, when did you get started, and why?

And here are my answers to the above

1. Favourite makeup line?

Illamasqua, although I am yet to own any of their products! I just love what they are doing. They've sparked my interest more than any other brand of late. My wish list is packed with all things Illamasqua.

2. Your favourite weekend pampering session?

I do my pampering mid week as I spend my weekends with my fella, friends and family so I keep my girlie fun for my free time. Aspirin mask and a light fake tan, both make me feel good.

3. What are the three makeup items you can't live without?

Concealer, Blush and Mascara. I swap the brands about but these items are a must.

4. What are three items you're lusting over right now? They can be makeup, skincare, or nails.

Illamasqua Liquid metals (surprise), Doir Lip Glow and another Kat Von D palette.

5. What kinds of blog posts do you love the most and why (haul, product review, DIY, tag, etc.)?

Any as long as they are an interesting read anything really. A sense of humour in them is always good.

6. If you have your own blog, when did you get started, and why?

Did my first blog in July but didn't fully start until August. I wanted to be able to comment on the blogs I was reading and thought why not join in. Some one might find my rambles interesting! Tee hee

Hope you guys have had a fantastic start to your weekend.

In Style and Cheapy Buys

While shopping in Tesco the other night I picked up a couple of cheapy numbers. Firstly I got “In Style” magazine. Not a one I would normally buy but it had a free tube of L'Occitane hand cream with it. I’ve never tried this so thought why the hell not. Magazine wise I’ve barely picked it up after flicking through it though. Took me quite a while to even get to the contents page, advert after advert after advert. It puts me off. To be honest I only buy one girlie mag a month and that’s Glamour. Cheaper than the average, perfect handbag size and actually contains some content, not just ads. But that’s just me.

Any way I also walked passed the make up stands (of course) and noticed that they are selling “Wet and Wild” products. I tried a couple of their pencil liners in the States and wasn’t overly keen but at prices under £2 why not give them another go.

I was disappointed with the Eyeko Vamp Nail Polish (see previous post) so when I saw a dark, dark gorgeous navy blue it found it’s way into my basket. That along with a light bronzy nail colour which I thought would be office friendly and a hot pink lippy. I’m all about pink lipstick at the mo.

The goods are all wrapped up which I kind of like. No testers though which is not so great but at least you know the ones you purchase haven’t been opened and played with by anyone and everyone.

As soon as I could last night the blue polish was out of it’s wrapper and on my nails. I loved it, shiny shimmering deep blue nails stared back at me. I was happy, until today. Within 24 hours it had chipped and I don’t mean just a little. Two of my nails had almost half of the polish missing and that was with a top coat. It was awful. I took it off as soon as I got in tonight. So my hopes that I had found a cheapy gem went out the window.

Tonight I have put on the bronze. The formula is called “Rock Solid” so fingers crossed it lasts a bit longer. I will update you if this is just as poor.

The lipstick I love, although I haven’t really tried it out properly. I literally slicked it on to check out the colour. It’s called Retro Pink, it looks like a hot pink but once on it looks almost a pink lilac. You can't really see it in the photos but there certainly is some purple tones to it. I’m keen. Not sure what it’s staying power is like as I’ve yet to try it all day. Might do tomorrow.

Hope you are all having a great week.

Clinique Clarifying Lotion - Try Out Update and Small Review

I thought I would do a little update on the Clinique Clarifying Lotion I have been using. The little freebie bottle I have is almost half way finished so it seems like the right time. I like to think of it as half full of course ;)

I started using it around the 20th of last month and so far I’m keen. It’s not a massive wonder product but then again I am lucky enough to have ok skin. I have the occasional dry patch and the odd spot from time to time but nothing major. I drink a shed load of water every day. This is never a chore as I love water. Years back I wasn’t so water keen and always had small dry patches on my elbows. I tried every cream on the planet but they wouldn’t go. Once I started on the H2O they went within a week. There really is no substitute for the stuff. Any way I go off topic.

Before using the lotion I tended to do an aspirin mask every other week however since using this stuff I haven’t felt the need. My skin never feels clogged up or in need of a good scrub. Every night, once I have removed my make up and given my face a wash, I give my skin I swipe with a cotton pad splashed with this stuff. A tiny splash is really all it takes and believe me you can feel it working. The stingy feeling lets you know it’s doing something. Not to get to disgusting on you but this removes dirt big style. I’m surprised that after using face wipes and washing my face that there is still rubbish there to shift but there is. So overall I’m happy, my skin feels super clean. I still have the odd dry bit and the odd spot but I didn’t expect in to work miracles. Once I have the pennies I think I will get myself a full size bottle.

Do you have any favourite skin care products at the mo?

MAC Tabby - Help, Can I ever get my hands on it again?

So it was Sunday and I really couldn’t be bothered doing anything too fancy MU wise. I had loads to do and I was going to be doing quite a bit of cooking later on in a hot kitchen. Not the best conditions for fancy eye colours. With that in mind I went for the one shadow approach. Quick, easy, minimum blending involved.

Routing through my MU stash my hands fell upon on old MAC 6 palette I bought way back when. In fact through googling I found it to be part of the MAC Delights Collection from October 2005! I remember being at the counter and spying this little beauty. For any Firefly/Serenity fans out there I thought it to be so “Inara” that I had to have it.

This Collection had three palettes Warm, Cool and Trend. This is the Cool. The colours being, from top to bottom (left to right), Zinc Bar (Lustre), Pale Out (Frost), Tabby (Lustre), Nocturnelle(Frost), Sumptuous Olive (Veluxe), Grey Grape (Matte). The Olive has always been my favourite, without a doubt. I do love green shadows and this was just so delicious and different from any other greens I had at that point. I had planned to put this on in my lazy day Sunday frame of mind but instead I thought I would go for Tabby. This I haven’t used to be honest. I had never thought much of the colour so had skipped over it a million times to get straight to my Olive love. In the pan it just looked a bit ‘Meh’. However now I’m adoring it.

Once it was on the lid I could see the colour properly and the subtle shimmer through it. It’s a Lustre finish so that is described as ‘Smoothly pearlized; intensely frosted with deluxe ultra-fine "conditioned" finish’. Colour wise I would say it’s a dirty gray brown. I realise it’s not an eye popping stand out from a crowd colour but a find it really flattering. Perfect for work or if you are just after a simple look. My only problem now is this was a Limited Edition. I went straight to the website on Sunday hoping that it would be there but no. I can’t find it. So I ask you peeps out there, is there any way I can get my hands on this colour again or is it gone for good?

Hope you’ve all had a great Wednesday.

I also wanted to say I big hello to the new folks that are now following me and a massive thank you to every follower. It means a lot that you guys take to time out to read my ramblings.

Colour Combos, what do you love?

I wanted to try out the new gold No7 eyeliner (from their Metallic range) that I bought the other day. It was calling me from my make up bag! So I thought I would try and combine it with the L’oreal HIP Colour Truth Cream Eyeliner I bought in the States earlier on in the year. I haven’t used it nearly as much as I should be. I have the gorgeous teal they have, I really wish I had picked up a few of their other colours too. Any way I just wanted a quick simple look that had a bit of colour to it. I really like the two together and this got me thinking about colour combinations. Years back I used to love putting Purple and Green together but it’s something I rarely do now. I have noticed that I seem to have a fondness for pink and green now. Whether it be green and pink on the lid or green shadow teamed with a hot pink lip, I’m in love with this combo.

So what are your favourite colour combinations? Do you go through phases of loving certain things put together? If so, do tell.
